Ann joined the Tweed Heads practice in late 2004, after many years working in the dentistry field. She has built up an excellent knowledge base in helping people with the latest in lens technology and picking the latest frame styles from the extensive collection on offer at Tweed. Ann also enjoys the practice focus on integrating high tech options into our optical solutions. She also enjoys the team comraderie at Tweed with the focus on great service to our local patients. Outside of work, Ann loves spending time with her family, going to the beach, camping, Thai food and her ongoing obsession with the Newcastle Knights!
Cassie is currently enrolled at QUT in a Bachelor of Vision Science, on her way to being an optometrist. She was also recently appointed as the QUT student ambassador for optometry. Cassie graduated from a Bachelor of Theatre Arts Acting with High Distinction and the Dean’s Award in 2010. She has toured Australia with theatre companies, helped coordinate and run youth community arts projects and received Performance of the Year from Goat Track Theatre Company and Best Dramatic Performance from Queensland Drama Festival. An avid traveler, Cassie has been all over Europe several times, Japan, Bali, Thailand, Morocco and even Tanzania to work with an orphanage and climb Mt Kilimanjaro! Cassie loves working for Envision Optical because of her delightful co-workers and the high standard of patient care that Envision Optical not only offers but emphasises. In her spare time she prefers to be around companions of the canine variety, as well as playing board games and card games like royal canasta.
Ruby joined Envision Optical in 2013. Currently studying at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus toward a Bachelor of Social Work, Ruby has been achieving fantastic results. This includes a High Distinction in her Human Behaviour Psychology, Case Management, Group Facilitation and Social Construction and Welfare subjects. Ruby has completed agency visits and has undertaken volunteer work for The Wacol Forensic Disability Service (medium security). Previously a Dance Assistant at Burleigh Waters Physical Culture Club, Ruby has volunteered for dance schools for children. She loves the staff at Envision Optical who she finds are professional, always welcoming and helpful in every way, with lots of good laughs in each day. Aside from work, Ruby loves to travel, having been to USA, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and most recently to Europe in 2014. She is also a dedicated lover of musical theatre.
Karlee joined Envision Optical in September 2015 returning to work after having her two daughters. A Gold Coast native, she had started in optics during a stint in Perth with her husband. Karlee loves helping patients find the perfect pair of glasses.
Carina joined Envision in 2017 after 4 years working for a large optical retail chain. Prior to optics she worked in dentistry. Carena loves the wide variety in optometry of helping people with clinical problems and searching out a great new frame. Outside of work her passion is photography, and she loves to also get outdoors to the beach, hiking, storm chasing and searching the coast for awesome restaurants.
Zoe is at the beginning of her career and has been working in optics for the past 3 years. Envision has really opened her eyes to the possibilities and varieties that the optics world has to offer. Zoe loves the advanced health treatments that the practice offers, and feels this sets us apart from other optical chains.
Outside of work, you’ll find Zoe venturing around the Gold Coast, thrill seeking at the theme parks, trying out new restaurants and spending time with her husband and young daughter. She is also a lover of all things musical theatre.
