Superdry is the funky label that fuses design influences from Japanese graphics and vintage Americana, with the values of British tailoring.
With coats bearing a Tokyo logo and Asian iconographies such as roaring tigers the brand is the brain child of designers James Holder and Julian Dunkerton.
The result – unique urban clothing, with incredible branding and an unrivalled level of detailing. Such distinctiveness has gained the brand exclusive appeal, as well as an international celebrity following.
From Japanese pub pipe dream to Britain’s fastest growing fashion company Superdry has become a cult global brand with stores in the UK and across the USA, Australia, Europe, South America and Asia.
The Superdry Collection
The collection takes influence from the iconic defining shapes and styles of the 1950’s with quality materials making the collection timeless and classic. It has a preppy ‘popped collar’ style ,which is blended with the Far East print embellishments and colours.
Superdry is synonymous with style, quality materials, and perfection in its detailing. Bamboo temples, chrome barrel hinges and unique, high-definition multiple branding are some of the features that make the collection unique. Thicker acetate than standard ensures ultimate quality and craftsmanship.
From the cat’s eye, women’s Daisy model to the half-framed men’s Caine and retro Depp, all styles possess vintage roots with a unique, contemporary design twist. Men’s styles lean deep into jet blacks – both flat matt and piano black polished – and rich tortoiseshells. Women’s combines heavy black fading to blush, hazy pinks and coloured tortoiseshells.
